My stink followers,
The godfather of Stink has returned once more to his temple of meditation and source of inspiration. All for one simple purpose – to lead you in the direction of stinktation and to seek the serenity of stinklightenment.
It is true what they say. I have taken a leave of absence from posting to my beloved stink-munity. I will remain behind the curtain and emerge on stage for an occasional post.
Today I have a special post for you all, released not but 8 hours ago from the sensational DJ Hohme. I recommend you check out all of his mixes. They are remarkable. He gives out all of his music for free. Get your 1 way ticket on the Hohme train now.
HOHME – Show Me Rain (Robin S X Kaskade X Adam K X Mobin Master X House Sheriffs)
I’m the first to admit- I’m not a fan of exercise. Especially the kind that reminds me just how out of shape I am, such as running. Even thinking about it makes me cringe. Sometimes the only thing that can get my feet moving and my mind geared are some truly fantastic, stinknasty tunes. Digitalism‘s remix of The Rapture‘s “Sail Away” does just the trick. When I listen to this song, I don’t feel like I’m exercising. I feel like I’m escaping. And when the beat drops, so often my worries do as well. That’s right, Stinkers, let it all go and definitely don’t ever look back.

Today we’re stinkin’ it old school with a new twist so take your hand-cupped stink, your stinky dutch oven, and your blue dart stink and max it to the next level via 200BOOM. Here’s three older tracks with some new school vibe for you to jam to while you’re inventing your next youtube sensation.
Props to J Squared spinning out of Tulsa for the submission that inspired this post. Schmenjoy.

Can you feel that? Fall is here. With it comes some fresh tuneage from a StinkyBeat favorite, Butch Clancy. This time he uses the voice of Amy Kuney to bring some absolutely gnarly cuts to her haunting melody. This is the type of dubstep that ghosts rock out to at their full moon raves. Close your eyes, hold out your arms, and let your world sway in the chlling breeze.

Wolfgang Gartner dropped a new two song EP on the 17th and it’s too, 2222 stinky to pass up. Sniff it, taste it, smell it, do whatever you need to do, just get stink high from these songs.

I’m not really sure how to describe this song other than ‘gorgeous’. Smooth like the stink from a baby’s bottom ODESZA (collab of Catacombkid and BeachesBeaches) does a number on us with IPlayYouListen. Any duo that can produce flow like this and give an album away for free are Charlie Sheen style winners in my book. Listen to it all and download below.

Dallas Green (of emo legend Alexisonfire) brings awesomeness to anything he does. (While this isn’t the site for it, I encourage you to check out his solo project City and Colour.) I’d have to give similar compliments to Adventure Club, a StinkyBeat favorite. The two in combination? Getouttahere. “To a Friend” brings some epic synth work to some beautiful melodies and that gnarly dubstep half-time bass that we all crave. This one should have you reaching for the stars.

We’ve had Madeon‘s Icarus in our bag for a while and were itching for another tune to pair it with. As of a bit ago, our wait is over. French house/electropop artist Madeon released his newest single The City not one fortnight in the past. If you’re in the mood for some catchy house, prepare you brain for a mind invasion and your feet for uncontrollable movement.
Try this one on a run.

We’re aware. Kaskade is huge and this song is old. But we just couldn’t go without posting some of this awesome stankness. Skylar Grey (along with co-writer Rob Thomas of Matchbox 20 fame) brings some haunting vocals that break into a beautiful, cathartic chorus. Who says being upset means you can’t dance? “Invisible” seems to be dictating otherwise. Soak up that emo love, StinkHeads. Cheers to having a heavy heart and light feet.

Another day, another holla’. This submission comes from Lewis of San Francisco who sent us Oliver’s remix of the Aussie trio sneakysoundsystem‘s “Big”. A nice Friday tune to get you bouncing and ready to take the weekend by the stink and powder it. You heard me.
